2 Days in Busan

I've now been 2 days in Busan.  Yesterday we saw an amazing cultural performance  - music and dance - on the history of Korea - colonization, independence, the Korean conflict and the contued division into north and south Korea.   Each day there are several cultural events and lots of people from around the world to meet.   Lots of bright young people who are committed to helping make this world a better place.    There have also been several sessions of WCC business.  And more tomorrow.

Peace Train to South Korea

It's been a while since I have written anything on this blog - three years to be exact.  My life has gone through a number of transitions in that time.

But I am writing to you now as I sit in the Pearson Airport waiting for a flight to Tokyo and then going on to Busan in South Korea to the 10 international gathering of the World Council of Churches.    I am going as a representative of Canadian Yearly Meeting.   And I hope to be able to blog about the experience while there.
